Born in Montreal in 1995, originally from Cameroon and Haiti, Niti Marcelle Mueth is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice explores the connections between identity, memory, and resilience through illustration, textile printing, and the creation of spaces for dialogue. Her work highlights narratives and perspectives that are often marginalized, promoting a sensitive and inclusive approach. Inspired by literature, exchanges, and lived experiences, she develops works that go beyond the visual to offer engaging and accessible representations. Her practice in illustration, printing, and textile techniques, combined with ongoing research into narrative and community forms, gives rise to creations where softness and impact meet. Her work has been presented in various artistic contexts, such as at the Maison de la Culture de Côte-des-Neiges and at the Livart Gallery in the past year, among others. She has also participated in cultural mediation projects aimed at strengthening dialogue and representation of underrepresented communities, particularly through Learning Loop, an initiative she co-founded to offer accessible artistic and educational experiences.
